On Saturday, July 17, Lowcountry Local First organized a bicycle tour of urban agriculture projects in downtown Charleston. The Elliotborough Community Garden was honored to be part of the tour. Claire and Billy spoke about how the garden was created and some of the unique challenges of growing food in an urban environment. It was great to see so many participants on the tour who are excited about urban and community agriculture in Charleston! Here are some photos of tour's stop in the garden.
